2023 Candy Hearts

This is the letter for Silbrith. My blog partner Penna Nomen is also participating in Candy Hearts. Her letter is here. 

Dear Candy Hearts Writer,
I'm excited to read a story or treat from you! I've provided some prompts, but if you have another idea, please use it. I'm fine with additional canon characters and OCs. Treats are very welcome! For Candy Hearts, I'd prefer a T or G rating.

General Likes (in no particular order):

• Humor and surprises
• Historical and literary references
• Science-fiction, fantasy, paranormal, meta, and time travel
• Diversity, inclusiveness, lgbtq+
• Romance, friendship, family, and found family
• Animals and magical creatures

DNWs:

• Sad stories. Specifically, avoid deaths, injuries, torture, rapes, funerals, violence, and gore.
• The characters don't want to be abused or tortured.
• Character bashing and bullying are also out. Avoid sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia.

Here are some ideas to serve as possible launching points:

Fandoms

1. Around the World in 80 Days: Phileas Fogg & Abigail "Fix" Fortescue & Jean Passepartout
   Did the characters stop somewhere that wasn't mentioned in canon? Perhaps they had a night on the town that didn't get included in the episodes. Are they planning for their next big adventure? Phileas is just coming into his own at the end of the first season. Is he newly assertive?
2. Discworld - Terry Pratchett: Magrat Garlick and Gytha "Nanny" Ogg and Esmerelda "Granny" Weatherwax
   Does one of Magrat's spells go awry and Nanny Ogg and Granny need to fix it? Does Nanny play matchmaker with disastrous results?
3. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: La'an Noonien Singh and Una Chin-Riley (Number One); Christine Chapel & T'Pring
   La'an and Una had such fun with Enterprise Bingo, what would they do on April Fool's Day? Does Christine plan something for T'Pring to help her understand humans?
4. Whyborne and Griffin - Jordan L. Hawk: Griffin Flaherty/Percival Whyborne; Maggie Parkhurst/Persephone Whyborne
   Persephone and Maggie yearn for more adventures. How would Persephone celebrate Valentine's Day? Whyborne and Griffin have already celebrated Valentine's Day once in canon. It was a day of misadventures. How did their second one go? Do they find a mysterious unexplored room in the Ladysmith Museum? That maze of passages and forgotten rooms has so many stories to tell!

Crossovers

1. Aziraphale & Crowley (Good Omens) & Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
   If Aziraphale mentioned Crowley, would Dean think he meant the Crowley he knows? What would he think of Good Omens Crowley?
2. Dean Winchester (Supernatural) & Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice & Zombies)
   Darcy could face stiff competition if Lizzy met Dean! Would Dean help him out?
