A series of contemporary urban fantasies written by Silbrith.
The stories are set in the fictitious town of Drexford near Boston, Massachusetts. Witches, vampires, and werewolves live harmoniously with the town's residents by hiding in plain sight. Creatures used to rely on lore passed down through families, but a few flagrant cases revealed how vulnerable their community is to exposure. To connect with each other, they rely on Ghostnet, a dark network set up by creatures at MIT in the 1970s.
Witches are able to draw aether from the etheric plane to perform magic. Modern vampires take meds to avoid drinking blood. Their diets are severely restricted. Feeding on humans or other creatures is a crime. Werewolves can shapeshift freely. They also rely on meds to maintain control.
