Sedlow Chronicles

A series of original sci-fi fantasies written by Silbrith.

Background: The series features Gwynn Tully, a 23-year-old graduate student in ecology. She's a loner and socially awkward. Her dating history has been a series of disasters. Gwynn has rationalized the strange events occurring around her to her satisfaction. It's not her fault she's wide of the mark. She hopes her move to Sedlow will be a fresh start, and that's what it turns out to be, but in a way she never would have imagined.

The stories are set in Sedlow, Connecticut. The fictional city was founded in 1645 as a seaport. In modern times, it is primarily known as the home of Ogden University. Established in 1660, the university is the second oldest in the country. Much of the original federal-style architecture can be seen on campus and in the historic district which adjoins the university. The series begins in the year 1972. Crosscurrents include the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Space Race, and the Cultural Revolution.
