Team Suggestions for Cinereous Skies

In the final chapter of Nocturne in Black and Gold, several members of the team present Diana with suggestions for her upcoming Arkham Files story, Cinereous Skies. I've grouped below the ideas she's received. But be advised, Diana reserves the right to modify and tweak them as her fancy dictates.

Warning for spoilers to Cinereous Skies

Neal: Early in the story Neal was envious of Henry searching for Adler in the Argentine rainforest. Diana listening to "Run through the Jungle" by Creedence Clearwater Revival while she writes is a signal she's given him his wish. Will this be a case where Neal regrets receiving what he hoped for? In the final chapter Neal tells Diana that Arkham Neal has mourned Kate long enough. It's time to move on. Neal has a creative idea for how traveling through a wormhole could affect his Arkham counterpart.

Peter: Allusions to Vermeer's painting, The Astronomer, will be included. A message on the armillary sphere could be taken to refer to the constellations on the celestial globe in the painting. Lavinia will have an astrolabe similar to the instrument next to Vermeer's globe. Peter also suggested a leopard be the villain. The leopard will be suspected of having caused Neal a hidden injury. When Peter watched a movie about a wizard, he thought of turning Lavinia and Phineas into shapeshifters. Peter asked Diana to include messages to Neal which involve a river, a bridge, and Simon and Garfunkel's song, "Bridge over Troubled Water."

Tricia: As the bird expert in the group, Tricia has a suggestion for Kate which involves a bird resembling a White-tailed Tropicbird.

The Matchmakers with Henry as a secret co-conspirator: Neal and Sara's relationship will heat up, perhaps literally.

Sara: Arkham Sara is known for not being able to sing in tune. New York Sara suggests that challenging Neal to teach her how to sing "Mockingbird" would be a good way to see him more often and also keep track of what he's up to.
